Loving and Losing our Cat Companions

As you might know, I finally released my book, Sadie’s Heart, in paperback! This morning I was humbled to find that my book has been listed on the website, Goodreads.com!

The story of Sadie and her heart condition, and ultimate passing, is one that comes straight from my heart. Losing my precious girl was one of the most painful things I have ever experienced, and I felt SO alone during that time.

I wrote Sadie’s Heart for YOU, you who are experiencing the loss of a cat or dog companion and the pain of that loss. Often our friends mean well and tell us to “get over it.”

As you and I know, it’s just not that easy.
