Home › Catversations › Adoption Stories › How my adopted cat picked my mom first
So when I moved out I did not want to live “alone” so my mom took me to go pick out a cat, which I had wanted for a long time. So we went to the animal shelter and went into the cat room. I had a lot of cats loving on me but my mom had this orange tiger cat all over her. She said you should get this one, I said no at first because he was not “into” me but she insisted so I said ok. We took him to my new apartment and he was distant at first. Then slowly he started to warm up to me. Now he only likes me, he does not even like my mom now. Is been about 11 years now and he is by my side all the time, he even can’t sleep without touching me. I guess its a good thing I work from home.
Aww what a nice story, thanks for sharing Tiger’s adoption with us!
